Money trouble
I thought this was it. A new start. We had a nice home and we were gonna meet new amazing people and have a great time. But no, it's not that easy. This is when the financial struggles kicked in. As if losing your mother and grandmother wasn't enough...
Apparently the butler wasn't free at all. He wasn't paid out front, like we thought he was. And the house wasn't completely free either. Yes, grandma did pay for some of it, but not everything. Since my dad is the only one that works, the 10000 simoleons our grandma gave us were gone pretty fast. My dad just started his politician career and earned very little money. He did get a promotion this week, but that still isn't enough to pay the rent. If we don't make more money we might lose the house and I don't want that to happen at all.
My sister and I decided to apply for a job. She applied as a barista since she is still a teen and I applied as a critic. I like my job, it's not to hard and I get to watch people perform and write articles about it. Unfortunately, it still isn't enough.
I told my dad many times to get rid of the butler, but he just became a part of the family. He also was grandma's butler. Sometimes he tells us stories about grandma and even about our mom, since she came over a lot. I really hope we can keep him, but I'm afraid if we don't get promotions quick we have no other choice than to fire him.
Now the good part, the city is great! I really enjoy living here. There are a lot of festivals and the people are SO NICE. I even met this girl. She has pink hair and she is really cool. I definitely think we could become friends. We hung out a couple of times and had a lot of fun.
What the future will bring? I don't know yet. Hopefully a promotion for every one of us. And hopefully we can keep the house and the butler.
