New city, new changes

I liked my life as it was. No, I LOVED it. I had lots of really nice friends, good grades, a sweet little sister, great parents and a nice, but small house. But that's in the past now...
I was seventeen when it all happened. When my life changed completely. My mom and my grandma got tickets for a show. Some opera show. My mom and her mom adored opera shows. My dad, my sister and me, not so much. Their favorite opera singer was Maria Simona. So when she came to Sunset Valley they were more excited than ever. My grandma had quite a lot of money, so she immediately bought VIP tickets for her and my mom. 'Maria Simona to my home town!' my mom cheered for days.
Unfortunately not everything went as planned. On the way there they got into an accident. They died on the spot. I was upset for days, but my sister had it even harder. That year, we grew even closer than we were already. My grandma, as I said already, was was quite rich. She left us 10.000 simoleons and a house, with a butler. We sold our old house and had to move to San Myshuno, where I didn't know anyone except my sister and my father.
The new house was, or is amazing though. Although I'm kind of a sloppy person, the house is exceptionally beautiful. It is a penthouse with the most wonderful view I've ever seen. I even have my own basketball court. My room isn't the best room in the house, but at least the view is great. I'll post a few pics below.
My dad always wanted to get into politics. After his boring office job he wanted something new, something challenging. My sister still goes to school, so she doesn't really need a job. And me? I'm still looking for something. I'm really into guitar and even a little singing (I'm not that good though) and I love playing basketball. But I'm not sure what career I'm going to choose yet.
